Parents and children enjoyed over 100 exhibits with a variety of hands on activities at the UNC Science Expo. The Institute for the Environment helped teach children and their parents about toxins that can be found in their food and water. Each of the Institute for the Environment’s stations at the expo were based off of IE faculty research.
